Location: Yukon (Whitehorse-based with rotational/out-of-town work)

NuWave Electrical Contracting Ltd. is currently seeking an Experienced Labourer to join our team in the Yukon. This position is ideal for a motivated individual with strong hands-on experience in electrical or related fields who is comfortable working in remote and out-of-town locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Help with daily operations of electrical installations, maintenance, and upgrades
• Provide support with site duties and logistics to licensed electricians and project leads on commercial, industrial, or remote job sites
• Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently
• Follow all safety procedures and site-specific regulations
• Travel and work out of town as required

Required Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence (abstract required)
• Minimum of five years of experience in electrical industry or other related construction/technical fields
• Ability and willingness to work out of town and in remote locations
• Relevant safety training
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work in a team environment
• Available for full time (35-40 hours/week) with option for overtime as needed

Assets (Not Required)

• Previous experience in camp or rotational work
• Experience working in northern or cold-weather environments
