Position Overview

Dynamic Systems is seeking an experienced and organized Project Manager to lead electrical, controls, and fire alarm projects from start to finish. This role is responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, and coordination between field staff, clients, and suppliers to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage electrical, controls, and fire alarm projects from kickoff to completion
  • Prepare and track project schedules, budgets, and forecasts
  • Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements
  • Oversee procurement of materials and equipment
  • Ensure projects meet all codes, safety standards, and client expectations
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to clients and management
  • Support estimating, change orders, and project closeout documentation

Qualifications

  • Journeyman Electrician, Engineering Technologist, or equivalent experience
  • Previous project management experience in electrical, controls, or fire alarm systems
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and project coordination
  • Experience with building automation systems (BAS), HVAC controls, or fire alarm systems is an asset
  • Proficiency with project management and office software (Excel, scheduling tools, etc.)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Valid driver’s license
