Pizza Maker/ Line Cook – Six Mile River Resort

Six Mile River Resort is a locally owned, community-loved, seasonal restaurant located in the heart of Tagish, Yukon. We serve a high volume of guests with a focus on fresh, high-quality meals and friendly, welcoming service.
We are hiring a Pizza Maker/ Line Cook to join our kitchen team, with a primary focus on pizza production during peak service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, stretch, top, and cook pizzas to consistent quality
- Assist with general line cooking and prep as needed, including preparing and cooking menu items to standard, ensuring quality and consistency
- Maintain a clean, organized, and FoodSafe-compliant workstation
- Assist with prep, portioning, and kitchen setup/closing tasks
- Communicate clearly with kitchen and front of house teams during busy service
- Support overall kitchen flow in a fast-paced environment
What We’re Looking For
- Experience making pizzas or working in a fast-paced kitchen
- Strong sense of timing and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and stay organized
- Ability to follow direction and work efficiently under pressure
- FoodSafe Level 1 certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Position Details
- Full-time, seasonal position
- Subsidized accommodations available on-site at Six Mile River Resort (Tagish) or mileage compensation available if commuting
