Plumber

Role Description

This is a full-time role located in Whitehorse and surrounding area. As a Plumber at Yukon Mechanical Ltd, you will be responsible for performing plumbing repairs and installations, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. You will collaborate with a team of skilled professionals to complete projects efficiently and to the highest standard.

This is a full-time position (40 hours/week) Overtime pay after 40h + weekend pay.

$150 a day LOA if required to stay out of town. + food and accomidations covered.

Qualifications:

-Journeyman Redseal

-Knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment

-Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

-Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

-Troubleshooting and repair heating systems (pressure and temperature issues), domestic water systems, and domestic water boiler experience

-Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

-Effective communication and customer service skills

-Ability to keep a clean work space and vehicle

-Self motivated, but also able to work within a team

-Valid class 5 drivers license

-High school diploma or equivalent

-Ability to pass a criminal background check

-Class B Gas ticket (preferred)
