We’re looking for a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Journeyman Electrician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments. Experience with controls or building automation is an asset but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications
- Troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently and safely
- Work on commercial, institutional, and light industrial projects
- Collaborate with project managers, technicians, and other trades
- Ensure compliance with all electrical codes and safety standards
- Maintain accurate documentation and job records
Qualifications:
- Valid Journeyman Electrician certification (Red Seal preferred)
- Experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical work
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience with controls/BAS (e.g., Niagara, Delta) is an asset
