JOB REQUIREMENTS
Specific Skills:
Load, unload, and transport construction materials. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades. Mix, pour, and spread materials. Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs. Level earth to fine grade specifications, Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, Read and interpret blueprints
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
Handling heavy loads, physically demanding, manual dexterity.
Work Site Environment:
Confined spaces, Construction areas.
Equipment & Machinery Experience:
Reciprocating & circular saws, drills, power tools, grinding machine, sledgehammer.
Required Tools/ work attire:
Tools, steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses, gloves, cell phone.
Work Scheduling & duration
Fulltime, permanent.
35-40 hours per week.
The applicant:
Experience: Minimum 1 year experience; residential construction and building maintenance.
Weight Handling: Must be able to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
Education: High school diploma.
Must have own vehicle and drivers license, must be able to pass criminal record check.
Languages: English
Wage: $28.50/hour
