Beautiful You Laser & Aesthetics seeking a skilled and experienced Hair Stylist to join our team!

The ideal candidate is passionate about hair, up-to-date with current trends, and committed to delivering outstanding customer service. You will be responsible for providing a wide range of hair services while building strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments
  
• Consult with clients to understand their needs and recommend suitable styles and services
  
• Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and products
  
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation in accordance with health and safety standards
  
• Promote salon products and services to clients
  
• Build and retain a loyal client base
  
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a positive salon environment

Qualifications:

• Completion of a recognized hairstyling or equivalent program
  
• Red Seal Endorsement is preferred or willingness to obtain
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a professional hair stylist
  
• Strong knowledge of hair cutting, coloring techniques, and styling tools
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with modern coloring techniques (balayage, blonde, ombré, highlights)
  
• Knowledge of various hair types and textures
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety standards
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
• Retail sales experience is an asset
