Apprentice/Journeyman Electrician
Northern Lights Electric is a locally owned and operated company started in the Yukon Territory. The company provides residential and commercial electrical services throughout the Yukon.
Northern Lights Electric is looking to hire a full-time 1st-4th year apprentice, and or, a journeyman electrician. This candidate must have strong costumer service skills, be able to communicate effectively, and demonstrate a high degree accuracy and safety in their work. General duties and responsibilities include assisting and running small to large projects with the construction management.
Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret blue prints, drawings, specifications and the Canadian electrical code book.
- Ability to work under the supervision of certified electricians, as part of a team and independently in a busy environment.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Red Seal Journeyman Certification (if applicable)
- Valid class 5 driver license.
- Must provide power tools and hand tools.
- Must be willing to travel from time to time.
