Location: Riverstone Dental Clinic
Salary: $22-$28 (depending on experience)

Job Overview:
While certification in dental assisting is an asset, it is not required. If you’re passionate about learning, we offer on-the-job training to ensure you’re well-prepared. Our experienced team understands the learning curve and is excited to share their knowledge, teach new skills, and help you grow in your role.
Clinic Hours of Operation:
Our clinic is open Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. We also host dental specialists most weekends (Saturday and Sunday), and the successful candidate will be scheduled to work one weekend per month. Additionally, overtime opportunities may be available, should you wish to take advantage of them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Interaction: Greet patients, escort them to the treatment room, and ensure their comfort.

Prepare Equipment & Operatory: Assist the dentist during patient examinations and dental procedures
Sterilization & Disinfection: Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
X-rays & Patient History: take x-rays as needed and review patient concerns or reasons for visit.

Collaboration with Specialists: Assist with visiting specialists including 2 oral surgeons, 1 endodontist, 1 periodontist, and 3 pediatric dentists.
Qualifications:

Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) preferred, but not required

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous dental assisting experience preferred, but we will train the right candidate

Proficiency in dental software and office procedures considered an asset

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
