Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations at active construction sites. The successful candidate will ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and timelines. This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and experience working in remote and logistically complex environments.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of construction crews
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
  • Monitor project progress and resolve work-related problems
  • Coordinate materials, equipment, and site logistics
  • Train and mentor workers on job duties and safety procedures
  • Liaise with management, contractors, and inspectors
  • Maintain daily site records, reports, and documentation
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to project plans and specifications
  • Apply knowledge of helicopter rescue operations and helicopter long-line rescuer instruction when required on site

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction supervision or a related role
  • Proven leadership and crew management experience
  • Knowledge of construction methods, safety standards, and site coordination
  • Experience or training in helicopter rescue and helicopter long-line rescuer instruction is required
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in remote or challenging environment

Education:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required
  • Additional construction or safety certifications are considered an asset
  • Training will be provided
