Eagle Plains Hotel is the only full-service stop between Dawson City and Inuvik, located on the iconic Dempster Highway, deep in the heart of the northern Yukon.

🍽️ POSITION: RESTAURANT SERVER

As a Server, you’ll be the face of our dining room — greeting guests, taking orders, delivering meals, and ensuring everyone leaves satisfied. You’ll also assist in light kitchen duties, including dishwashing, especially during slow periods or shift transitions.

🛠️ YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet and serve guests in our Arctic Circle Restaurant

• Take food and beverage orders, deliver meals, and clear tables

• Operate the POS system for payments and receipts

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area

• Support the kitchen team with dishwashing and light cleaning duties

• Assist with basic prep work if needed (team support is key here)

• Provide friendly, attentive service to travelers from all over the world

• Help maintain a positive, professional team environment

✅ WHAT YOU GET:

• $18.00/hour

• Free private room on-site

• 3 home-cooked meals per day

• 6 days on / 1 day off per week

• Minimum 8 hours/day, with flexibility as needed

• Wi-Fi access (limited range due to remote location)

🧭 WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada (No LMIA provided)

• Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred

• Willingness to help with dishwashing and kitchen support tasks

• Friendly, adaptable, and calm under pressure

• Comfortable living and working in a remote, tight-knit team environment

• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
