Fundraising Event Volunteer

Role Overview

On June 28, Larrikin Entertainment is celebrating a decade of storytelling, creativity, community, and delightful theatrical shenanigans by hosting Tea Time by the Yukon River, a Larrikin-style high tea in the Linda Rapp Landing at the Robert Service Campground. We’ll have two sittings, 10:30am and 2:30pm with up to 80 people at each.

To make the magic happen, we’re looking for a wonderful team of volunteers.

Whether you’re a kitchen wizard, a decorating genius, a people person, or simply someone who enjoys being part of something special, we’d love to have you join us.

Responsibilities

Kitchen Crew
Help prepare an elegant spread of sweet and savoury treats.
Friday, June 26
Saturday, June 27
Sunday, June 28
(About 6 volunteers needed each day)

Servers
Pour tea, serve treats, and help our guests feel thoroughly spoiled.
9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
12:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
(About 6 volunteers per sitting)

Decorating Team
Help transform the hall into a charming high tea wonderland.
Saturday, June 27, 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Clean-Up Crew
Help us keep everything sparkling throughout the day.
9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
12:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
(2 volunteers per sitting)

A variety of tasks between now and June 28 for anyone who wants to lend a hand before the event.
